In 2008, United For A Cause (UFAC) was formed with funding by it’s members. We developed an organization aimed at helping families within our communities that have been victimized by various crimes.
UFAC is a community-based activist organization that provides services and resources to women, children, and families that have been victimized by violent crimes. UFAC works on behalf of women who have lost children and loved ones to violence, inside and outside of the home, and provides support to aid in the healing process from violent crimes such as medical outreach, court proceedings, and much more.
UFAC understands that time is precious when a loved one gets assaulted. UFAC also understands that an assault in any degree can be damaging on many levels. We work with the community and law enforcement, as well as the victim’s family We take part in search teams, post fliers with the community, arrange prayer vigils, and talk with the local media.
When working with victims and families, in “high profile” case’s and media coverage has faded, UFAC vows to never leave a family behind. UFAC respects the families and their need for confidentiality.
UFAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which is currently “NOT RECEIVING ANY FUNDING,” therefore, donations are needed and greatly appreciated from the public. You can click on the donation tab to make a tax deductible donation.
